Resumen

What do Spanish people think of themselves? What do they believe in? How do they acknowledge themselves? With whom do they identify themselves? What do they dislike of present times and what do they expect form the future? What mood are they in to face the problems arising from the crisis and those still pending? In Los españoles ante el cambio, written by José Ignacio Wert, current Minister for Education, Culture and Sport, looks for answers to these questions and poses new ones that our society must face and solve. This study is a thoughtful reflection and a starting point to draw an empirical map of opinions, attitudes and values. It also includes a preliminary analysis made by the author on the 2011 general elections.
